The two pugs pups a few days after a few days in France

Left: 2 months 1/2 bitch- Right : 2 months old dog

We first started breeding cockers spaniels about 10 years ago. You can visit our cocker's website by clicking here.We live in a small village in the forest in the Loire Valley not far from Saint Etienne and Clermont ferrand. We have no neighbours and our dogs can all enjoy freely the large closed forest around the house.

We have been breeding on the english bloodlines only, because we really thought that they were the best as for type and temperament. We started a partnership with the very famous Jozelah Kennels who won Best of breed at crufts and who have made up several UK champions. We become very close friends and we have had very good wins together with our dogs, both in France and in the UK. One of our stud even won a RBIS in London and has had other important wins in the english rings and also CACIB, BOB, BOG and CC in France.

We have never had a lot of dogs and used to produce about one litter a year simply because of our work and also because we wanted to be able to take care of all of our dogs, that we love first for what they are and not for the results they can possibly have in the rings.

I always admired pugs. When I was showing my cockers in the UK or when Linda was judging other there, I couldn't help spending a long time watching them in the ring and thought that one day I will have one or two or three............................The day has come when I really needed to stand back from the cockers breeding due to several difficult reasons.

I was studying different books in order to become a "judging expert confirmater" for the french kennel club, when I decided to ring a french pug breed in order to have a chat about this breed.

When I put the phone down I was convinced it was the right moment for me to have a pug!

I rang my english friend Linda to let her know about my decision. A week after, I am in London at Linda's home, both ready to go to the Lincolnshire at the Eastonite Kennels !!!!!!!

2 months and half puppy dog

When we arrived at Amanda's, I was more than pleased because all the pugs were around us and I could notice that they had a fantastic life : It was a bit like if I was in the "pugs temple" . Amanda offered me a little bitch, the pick of a litter of six puppies from the BOB winner at Crufts 2006 : Patsgang Lord Eastonite. She had an extrovert temperament with a very short body and a superbe head !!!!!!

Then, Amanda was more than kind to offer me in partnership a very nice and strong dog from her Show Champion - (BOB at the pug dog club show) : SHCH Northside Paul Eastonite, a son of SHCH Patsgang Sir Eastonite BOB Cufts 2004 ! This puppy dog had a head to die for and I am so thankfull to her to have trusted me!!!!!!! Thanks a million Amanda.

Since then, we do live some fantastic moments with our two pugs and our life has completely changed because of these incredible "doggy people" that we love to bits!!!!!!
